Distressed card

I simply love everything about this card. I love the fact you start your project off with plain white card stock then you transform it into something completely different.

For the background I have used distressing inks, then crumbled up the card then spray on my Glimmer Mist. These products work fantastically together.

The Flower Lover image has been stamped in Versafine black then coloured in with pencils. I made this for one of my dear friends birthday who was 88 this week.

Thanks for looking.

SCS Challenge

Another great SCS challenge, SC232.
The little mouse is from Great Impressions which I have coloured in with chalks. All papers used are S.U.
I loved this challenge, a great layout.

Flower Lover

My Wednesday night ladies are in for a shock. Those who know me know full well I don't make cards using flower images.

This is a very simple card but quite effective, just goes to show sometimes less is more.

I have used B Line Designs 'Flower Lover' stamp from LB Crafts which has been stamped in Versafine Black and coloured in with my Karisma pencils. The purple base card has been stamped all over with the Sanded background stamp from S.U. using Adironack Purple Twilight. Then I made a flower using my S.U. 5-Petal Flower punch.

I think what makes this card is the silver mirri card and the simplicity of it. Unfortunately the photo itself doesn't actually do this card justice.

Hope you like it.

Touch of Nature

I have used Stampin' Up set 'Touch of Nature' for this card and my Nestabilities along with my Scor-it pad on the base of the card. This set has to be my all time favourite stamp set.

I have used Chocolate Chip ink pad on the background and the bird image and have coloured the bird in using my Karisma colouring pencils.
I've also shown it here using pink card stock to show how versatile this stamp set is.

Quite simply it's a great all rounder.

Thanks for looking.

One for my Dad

Here's my second card suitable for Fathers Day.

These adorable little owls are one of Rachel Anne Miller's design. I have used Cuttlebug embossing folder on the base of the card along with my scor-it board to add extra interest. I coloured the owls with my Karisma pencils and blending solution. The letters that spell out dad are Quickutz 'Star' alphabet. Foolishly I didn't buy the upper case in this set and now they are unavailable. That was a big mistake!!!!!!!!!!!

I always enjoy making cards for men so no surprise then that my next posting will be another mans card.

The inspiration for the layout of this card came from Heart Prints Card Gallery, click here to pop over to Sue site, it is full of lovely ideas.

Until then happy crafting.

One for the Men

Seeing as Fathers Day is fast approaching I thought I’d upload this cute little guy, and he is cute don’t you think?

Supplies:-

Bear – Judith stamp from Stamp Addicts

Fishing rod and words – Rubber Necker rubber stamps

Frog – Penny Black

Background paper - unknown.

I’ve used my rectangle nestabilities to sit the bear on and have coloured all the images with my Marvy Le Plumes.

I’ll post another man’s card tomorrow so don’t forget to drop by.

See you then.

I'm With You Every Inch of the Way

My two dear friends have both started a diet, me too come to think of it. So I made them these cards to encourage them along the way.

The pumping iron girl is from Whipper Snapper ‘Working it out’ which has been coloured in with Karisma colouring pencils and a blending solution.

All papers are from Stampin’ Up and the flowers have been made using the 5-Petal Flower punch. I used my circle Nestabilities to decorate.

Thanks for looking.

House Mouse Feeling Rosy

This adorable stamp is from House Mouse, Feeling Rosy. I made this card for my mum's birthday. I used Stampin' Up chalks to colour the image in along with their papers. I love the way everything goes together.
Thanks for lookiing.

House Mouse Donut Bliss

It only took me twenty minutes to make this card so I didn't really enjoy making it. I usually like my cards to take me a least one hour to make, then I feel I've really got stuck into it. Once again I've used Stampin' Up papers, just love using these, they make colour coordination so simple.

Mole in a Hole

I bought this adorable stamp at Alexander Palace but I cannot remember from which stall. I coloured him in using my Karisma colouring pencils
